Kelsey was having a little snack of whipped cream at her table when Kallie decided to join her. Usually I hear much squalling as Kallie tries to have some of Kelsey's food, But this time Kelsey decided to share and offered some to Kallie-girl.

Thanks to all who wished us well. I think we are all on the road to recovery, FINALLY!! This has been the longest period of sickness we've had in a long while.

The flu bug! :(

The flu bug has decided to visit our house uninvited. Our little Muffett got it on Tues. and it has proceeded to invade the rest of us. Yuck!!! Hopefully, it is packing it's bags and leaving on the next gust of wind. I sincerely hope it doesn't come to roost at your house.

Busy week

This week has been a busy one. Lately, it seems that alot of weeks are busy! Anyway, on Tues. (my birthday) Mom took me out for lunch at the little coffee shop that Rachael works at. They have a Kona Mocha coffee that I just love, so of course, I had to have that too! Tues. evening, I met Tim in Harrisburg(he's been working out of town) at Outback for supper. We had a nice time.
Thurs. and Fri. the girls and I went down to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Chambersburg. We were able to spend time with my cousins as well, who both just got married last year. They're like another brother and sister to me.
Today, I had to work and now I'm trying to write this post with my dear daughter on my lap. Very Challenging!!!:)

My baby girls are in la-la land, so I thought I'd take a couple minutes to post something. The last few days have been busy. Tuesday night we went down to the PA farm show with Todd and Dawn Stinebrickner, who were up visiting her parents. Wednesday, I went over to visit Dawn some more(It's been a year since we saw each other and we've both had a baby). It was nice to visit with her and see her little ones. I worked on Thursday and Friday, Tim and I went down to York on business. By the time we picked up the girls and stopped at Walmart the day was well gone. I worked this morning and am now trying to clean house and do laundry. I also have dishes to wash and 2 apple pies to make! Isn't multi-tasking fun?! Tomorrow, my baby girl will be 10 months old :( Where does the time go? To think that in just a few years, they'll be all grown up. Ok! Time to stop being sentimental and get back to work! Back in Pa.

We are back in Pa! We got home around one o'clock on Tues. morning. The girls were pretty good on the way home. Kelsey really enjoyed her new DVD player. I've been keeping busy with unpacking, doing laundry, and buying groceries(definitely NOT a favorite of mine). Next month we get to do it all over again when we go out to Arkansas for Kent's wedding. Yay!!!

Do I want to go home?

Today was absolutely beautiful; in the 70's. Which sort of makes me wish that we weren't leaving tomorrow (Actually, I am looking forward to being in my own bed!!) . I have really enjoyed being down here enjoying the beautiful weather and spending time with Andy and Julie. Today after dinner we took Kelsey up to the playground they have here. She thoroughly enjoyed the swings and slides and I was beginning to wonder if she would ever quit playing. At one point, she agreed to leave so we started for the steps to take us down to the lower area. As soon as she saw the steps, she said "Not" and changed direction. After that, I'm sure all parents of 2 year olds know what took place!!! Even the thought of pie and icecream didn't help much. Imagine that!!! I will post more pics when I get home, but it may take me a couple days to get to it. See you all later!

Beautiful Day!

Today is a beautiful day in the 60's here in Alabama. I pushed Kallie in the stroller as I took a little walk. I'm not really looking forward to going back to chilly PA. Although, there is no place like home. Tim bought a DVD player for the truck to keep the girls occupied on the way home. Kelsey really enjoys movies. One of her favorite is Ice Age. She calls it the " elephant movie". She laughs when someone hits the sloth and cries when they give the baby back to his father. As soon as a movie is over she immediatly looks around for the remote. Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all! We are enjoying Alabama for a few days with Tim's brother Andy and his wife, Julie. It's not as warm as we were hoping, but still warmer than PA. I have to admit that even though I am proud of the fact that I'm a Yankee, the south has some of the best shopping places. We went to a huge mall in Birmingham on Wednesday. The privilege of shopping was offset by our darling 2-year-old, who proceeded to wail whenever anything didn't go her way. I tried to discipline her as discreetly as possible,which caused even louder wailing. At one point, this one person concerned for her health (or just being nosy,I'm not sure)asked my sister-in-law if she was OK. Julie assured him that she was. I will be glad when Kelsey decides that the fight is not worth it!! Anyway, it was still nice being able to shop in stores I don't often get into.
