Kent and Laura's wedding

Kelsey and this little boy ran down the aisle ringing bells

Laura wore her Mom's wedding dress. It was very beautiful, as was she.

My Grandma Engle was able to come to the wedding. She lives about 5 hours away from where the wedding was held. This was quite a thing for her since she is 84 and blind. We were all so happy she could make it.

A Blessed Easter To You!

I hope that you all have a very blessed Easter, remembering what Jesus has done for us. A couple Sundays ago we heard the testimony of a guy in our church that suffered a mugging and then struggled with post-traumatic stress syndrome. He shared that the main way he coped and got through this time in his life was by worshiping and praising God. His main point was that ONLY God can take the horrible circumstances that we may experience and bring Life out of them. He is an awesome God and I'm so glad to be serving Him!

Kallie's 1st Birthday Party

We had Kallie's birthday party a few days early. It was at Jake and Rachael's, so only family were there because of the small space. Kallie wasn't too sure about digging into her cake at first, but then decided it was pretty good!

What a lovely day!

Ahh, what a lovely day to be alive. It is absolutely beautiful here today. Hopefully the beginning of warmer weather. The girls and I met a friend for lunch and when we got back we took a walk. I (always the smart one!! HA!!!) had to change my shoes and on the way out, locked the door. Of course, the keys were left inside. :( I did not discover this until after our walk. Thankfully, a window was unlocked, so I put Kelsey through hoping she would find the keys. She didn't, so I waited for a vehicle to pass and then very unceremoniously and unlady-like, I proceeded to go head first through the window. I do hope that no neighbors were watching! The bad thing is that I have had to do this on more than one occasion. One would think that I would soon learn my lesson and keep track of my keys!! But now that would just make life too easy, huh? This is one area in our lives that Tim has much consternation with. I have NO idea why!!!!!
